About STUDIOchaton

STUDIOchaton is the creation of Jay Stilwell, a Kansas native who has photographed professionally in the Northwest since 1991. The influence of Frank Hurley, John Sexton, Eugene Smith, and Ansel Adams can be seen in his photographs. Over the years, many of Jay’s photos have been published in national and international publications. After several years of commercial photography, Jay decided to put away his camera and pursue other endeavors. It wasn’t until the advent of affordable digital photography that his interest was renewed. Today, Jay’s photographs can be seen in many homes and offices throughout the Northwest.
